Sales Representative - Armenia

Up for Grabs is a food surplus marketplace launching in Yerevan, connecting consumers with F&B businesses selling unsold surplus items at a discount through surprise bags. We are looking for an on-the-ground Sales Representative to onboard food and beverage businesses onto our platform and support pilot operations during our initial launch in Armenia. ### About the Role This is a hands-on independent contractor engagement supporting Up for Grabs during its initial launch in Yerevan. You will be responsible for completing the onboarding of interested food and beverage businesses, identifying and approaching additional potential partners, supporting businesses through their first live listings, and serving as the local point of contact during the pilot period. ### Core Responsibilities - Complete the formal onboarding of businesses that have expressed interest, including collecting partner details, onboarding form data, and coordinating go-live steps - Confirm pickup windows, bag types, and initial pricing guidance with each business - Support each business through account setup, first bag template creation, and first live listing - Identify and approach additional food and beverage businesses in Yerevan, including cafes, bakeries, restaurants, hotels, grocery stores, and catering businesses - Deliver the Up for Grabs pitch and follow up with interested businesses through the full onboarding process - Serve as the local point of contact for onboarded businesses during the pilot period - Follow up with partners during their first weeks to check listing activity, pickup windows, and bag quality - Send weekly activity recaps, track pipeline status, and share field feedback and market observations - Escalate technical issues, complaints, or policy questions to the Company within 24 hours ### Requirements - Based in Yerevan, Armenia - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Comfortable with in-person outreach and field work - Able to work independently and manage your own schedule - Professional and honest representation of the company ### Onboarding Target Minimum of **6 successfully onboarded businesses** during the engagement, with potential to onboard up to 12. A successful onboard means the business has completed the required onboarding steps, account setup, and first live listing preparation. ### Engagement Details - **Type:** Independent contractor role - **Location:** On the ground in Yerevan, Armenia - **Expenses:** Transportation and operational expenses within Yerevan are included in the total fee ### Compensation - Base fee of **USD 100** - **USD 40** per successfully onboarded business - Paid at the end of the contract term after deliverables are submitted and verified

Senior F&B Sales Representative

Up for Grabs is a food surplus marketplace launching in Beirut, connecting consumers with F&B businesses selling unsold surplus items at a discount through surprise bags. We are looking for a Senior F&B Sales Representative to lead our partner acquisition efforts on the ground in Lebanon, converting leads into active partners, developing the most effective acquisition approach, and building a repeatable system that future sales hires can follow. ### About the Role This is a hands-on, senior engagement. You will not be following a script handed to you. You will own the full sales cycle from outreach to onboarding, assess what works and what doesn't, and build the acquisition playbook through action. You will coordinate directly with our F&B Industry Consultant to ensure that what you learn in the field feeds back into the broader strategy, and that the strategic groundwork informs your approach in real time. ### Core Responsibilities - Convert pre-allocated leads provided by the Company by initiating contact, setting up meetings, pitching, and guiding each business through to onboarding - Generate additional leads beyond pre-allocated businesses using your own industry network, relationships, referrals, and professional judgment - Assess and test different outreach methods to determine the most effective approach for the launch market, including warm introductions, referrals, targeted visits, industry events, or other methods you identify as high-converting - Support each business through the full onboarding process, from account creation and setup through to their first live listing on the platform - Follow up with newly onboarded partners during their first weeks to check listing activity, resolve basic issues, and maintain engagement - Document which outreach methods are converting and which are not, with supporting observations - Develop a repeatable acquisition approach based on field experience and produce a handoff-ready guide that a junior sales representative can follow to replicate the process - Document all research findings, common objections, surplus food patterns across business types, and market-specific insights gathered during the engagement - Coordinate with the F&B Industry Consultant, sharing field observations, objection patterns, and conversion data to enable real-time refinement of the go-to-market strategy - Collaborate with the Company and the F&B Industry Consultant to determine the best target areas based on market mapping and field assessment - Send weekly activity recaps and maintain a pipeline tracker for all leads and onboarding progress ### Requirements - Significant experience in sales, business development, or partner acquisition within Lebanon's F&B or HORECA sector - An existing network of relationships in the Lebanese F&B industry that can be leveraged for warm introductions and credible outreach - Ability to operate independently, manage your own pipeline, and meet onboarding targets with minimal supervision - Strong understanding of how F&B business owners think, what they care about, and how they prefer to be approached - Willingness to test different acquisition methods and honestly report what is and isn't working - Ability to document your process clearly enough that someone less experienced can replicate it - Strong communication in English and Arabic ### Onboarding Target Minimum of **15 successfully onboarded restaurants** during the engagement, with potential to onboard up to 50 depending on cluster capacity and pipeline velocity. A successful onboard means the business has created an account, completed setup, and published at least one live listing within 7 days of activation. ### Engagement Details - **Type:** Fixed-term engagement - **Location:** Target areas determined collaboratively - **Deliverables:** All work, research findings, and the acquisition approach must be documented and submitted with a final handoff document ### Compensation - Base fee of **USD 1,500**, paid in three milestone installments tied to verified deliverables - **USD 50** per successfully onboarded restaurant, paid monthly in arrears - Total potential compensation up to **USD 3,000** depending on performance

Senior Business Consultant

We are looking for an experienced F&B Industry Consultant to serve as our senior industry advisor for the Lebanese market, helping us refine our go-to-market approach, shape our sales strategy, and build the infrastructure our sales team will execute on. ### About the Role This is a short, focused engagement (4 to 6 weeks). You will bring deep firsthand knowledge of Lebanon's F&B and HORECA sector and apply it to help us understand how the industry operates, where we should focus, how to position our offering, and how to approach business owners effectively. You will work closely with the founding team and coordinate directly with our Senior Sales Representative to ensure strategy and field execution inform each other in real time. ### Core Responsibilities - Provide the Company with a practical understanding of how the F&B and HORECA sector operates in Lebanon, including business models, cost structures, procurement cycles, surplus food dynamics, and how business owners think and make decisions - Review our current go-to-market strategy, value proposition, and partner acquisition approach and identify where we are well positioned and where we need to adjust - Map Lebanon's F&B landscape and identify the highest-potential geographic clusters for launch, working collaboratively with the founding team and the Senior Sales Representative to finalize target areas - Define ideal early-adopter partner segments and build an initial prioritized prospect list to serve as the starting pipeline for our sales efforts - Develop a field-ready sales approach informed by industry norms, covering how to initiate contact with business owners, what language and framing to use, and how to handle common objections - Create or refine partner-facing pitch assets including a one-pager, short deck, and leave-behind materials - Refine the sales approach on an ongoing basis using field feedback and conversion data from the Senior Sales Representative - Tie all workstreams into a phased market expansion roadmap with sequencing, success metrics, and resource requirements - Document all work, research, and advisory outputs and deliver a comprehensive handoff document at the end of the engagement ### Requirements - Extensive firsthand experience in Lebanon's F&B and HORECA sector with a strong understanding of how the industry operates on the ground - Ability to advise on stakeholder behavior, decision-making patterns, and operational realities across restaurants, cafes, bakeries, hotels, catering companies, and buffet-style establishments - Experience in go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, or business development within F&B, hospitality, or marketplace businesses - Ability to produce field-ready, practical deliverables that a junior sales representative can pick up and execute with clear guidance - Sharp communication in English; Arabic strongly preferred for partner-facing materials - Self-directed and comfortable owning deliverables end to end against a tight timeline ### Engagement Details - **Duration:** Fixed-term, 4 to 6 weeks - **Location:** Remote with on-the-ground research in Beirut as needed - **Deliverables:** All work must be documented and submitted with a final handoff document ### Compensation - Up to **USD 2,300** for the full engagement - Paid upon completion and acceptance of all deliverables - Milestone-based payment schedule available by mutual agreement
